The City of McLeansboro announced today that it has launched a newly designed city website in an effort to enhance online transparency and to create a user-friendly site for its residents, businesses and visitors.
The website www.mcleansboro.us was designed by Andrew Blackwell, and features enhanced functionality as well as a clean, easy layout to navigate. In addition, the website uses a responsive design, which allows for easy viewing no matter the device.
The design allows for easy access to city meetings, agendas and minutes, and City Municipal Code Regulations, as well as updated information on elected officials, departments, and employees. It will also allow access to important and popular forms such as zoning permits, demolition permits, commercial dig permits, job applications, utility connections/disconnections, and service requests. City maps featuring political districts, zoning districts, and garbage pickup routes/dates are available on the website as well.
Updates to the website will continue over the next several months as the City looks to build upon the design of the site and integrate more solutions to better serve its residents and businesses.
