Republic Garbage Services will run without interruption of services this month. Please put your totes out the evening before pick-up and remove them from the street-side as soon as possible following pick-up. (Republic observes the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.)
TRADE Industries, located on South Jackson Street, offers many work opportunities for our folks with special needs. It has been our recycling center for many years, and it’s an important part of our community. TRADE needs our help! Please do not use the recycle dumpsters as trash dumpsters. There has been a trend of more trash being thrown in with the recycling, and that trash puts our neighbors, family and friends working at TRADE at risk of injury or illness. Keep it Clean. Keep it Proper (cardboard, plastic, newsprint, and aluminum cans). Keep it Safe! Thank you for recycling!
NIXLE information can be found on the back of this newsletter. Please read it.
A very special thanks to all of those who have kept their ditches clean, lawns mown and tidy, and buildings in good repair! Pat Stevens, Zoning Administrator, would like to thank everyone who helped her last year.
