Reminder- City Hall is closed Wednesday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day Celebrations. 

4th of July Fireworks Celebration will begin at 9:00 pm on Wednesday at Lake McLeansboro. The lake will be closed to all drone lights and watercraft from 5-10 pm the day of the fireworks. The rain date is July 5th.

Various activities are planned for the Holiday Celebrations. Details will be in the McLeansboro Gazette and on social media. We wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July. 

Residential waste collection will run one day late for Wednesday and Thursday pick up during the week of the July 4th. 

Reservations for the Weinmann Pavilion/Lake McLeansboro and the Satterfield Pavillion/Kids’ Kingdom can be made by phoning City Hall. There is no charge to reserve either location for residents of Mcleansboro. 

Call 811 before digging or cleaning brush on your property. It’s important to protect public safety. The City of McLeansboro has natural gas lines within the City and high-pressure lines along Illinois Highway 14 West. Before you begin to dig for any reason, or clear a lot you must call J.U.L.I.E. first. The toll free number is 1-800-892-0123. Or, call 811.
